Why I do this
Fifteen years watching learning change how people feel about their work.
Before coaching, I led teams in the commercial world at Whitbread and InBev, in the UK and internationally. I know what it is to carry a target, to manage people you did not choose, and to make a decision with imperfect information on a Monday morning.
Since 2005 I have worked in leadership development, training and coaching, and I still feel the same sense of excitement when I see how much difference the learning has made. That is the whole point. Making working life better, helping people reach their potential, and making businesses more effective as a result.
I also sit as a non executive board director for a digital marketing agency, and I volunteer as a coach and mentor for disadvantaged young adults. People are at the heart of everything I do.
Nothing here is off the shelf. Every programme is written for the people in the room.
